So much for you gettin the 8 " dob , Ha u went for the 10" lol . Yes i was tempted too .... but had the missus there with me. Ok yeah i got no instructions too but i got on to a great site that may help

www.andysshotglass.com will be a great helpA to you . Also general instructions for putting the whole thing together can be downloaded from http://www.telescopes.net/m-z/orion_...assic_dob.html This will be a great help to you , i spent Xmas checkin this out . just download the file , yes i know we dont have orions but its basically the same thing.

OK I figured it out everything is A OK now!

Thanks for all your posts! I'm about to go outside and look for M42 and the horsehead nebula in orion, can't wait!
