M57 Colour and UHC

Stacked in Sequator (best pixels) so no too sure of the frame quantity from 116 Lights Colour subs , 94 Astronomic UHC filter subs , 10 darks. x 6 sec/ sub .ISO 1600. Total integration of 21 minutes with 20" Scope "Zamar " F5 Dob tracking provided by Servocat and Argonavis. Post edit levels , curves and noise reduction in Gimp portable. Camera:Olympus 4/3 EPM-2 at prime focus.Further frames would hopefully reveal the faint outer rings and further detail of Spiral galaxy IC 1296 from Bortle 5 skies.

Very nice Wes. Once we get into more moderate temperatures I'm keen to give the C11 a run on PN. I hadn't considered it for imaging but small, bright targets might work.

ThxLong focal length scopes should fair better on smaller objects yeh I have found that PN's respond to filters , tend to be easier to post edit as well and hold up when stripping LP out .
