Hi all. Its been a long time between images. Finally keen to get back into it. Still manually guiding but with a new ZWO guide cam. I use a virtual reticle on the laptop over a guide star and manually guide it with fast and slow buttons for the RA drive and a manual slow motion for the DEC on the old Sampson AOS mount.
This is a 4x10 minute shot of Eta carina neb with the old modded 350D and UHCS filter.Calibrated in IRIS and then Photoshop.

Aaah good'ol Scotty...locked in an early 90's time warp ...at least ya havent got ya eye ball glued to the guide eyepiece ...nice result on a rarely imaged target none the less
Thanks all. I have tried my hand at narrowband HA imaging, though with the uncooled camera still limit subs to 10 mins, the great thing about my OAG is its pickoff prisim is outside the diameter of the focusser so sees unfiltered light. The only bummer is the stars arent round due to coma, would be great if someone made just a small segment of a large coma corrector to put in front of the guide cam something like this is simple but very effective http://adsabs.harvard.edu/full/1980MNRAS.191..777W
