Jemmo, I've been enjoying your posts.
In the 26, Jupiter will appear smallish and
very bright, at least in the 10". I doubt you'll see much detail,
but...
....prepare to be blown away by the widefield views this 26 will give you under a dark sky, especially later in the night. I use a 28mm in my 10", and I have an OIII filter for it as well. The views of the Carina neb through this setup are literally otherworldly. But unlike some means of securing your socks to your feet, filters are not essential here.
The 9mm should work well on Jupiter though.
