QHY 8 CCD camera- Not working HELP
Anyone with electronics experience especially CCD cameras that may wish to check this camera out for me, worked flawlessly for a number of years then brought it out of storage after a 8 year hiatus (kept in case dry environment) but now can't seem to get it to work, tried an number of options even removed and reseated the CCD chip which was a right pain as the motherbaord etc is bathed in silicone. I returned the camera to Theo at Gama he checked it said was faulty but couldn't figure out what was wrong with it- QHY in China say they no longer have IC's for this camera but I could ship it back to them for checking which would still cost me a couple of hundred in freight etc with no gurantee it could be fixed. Please PM me if interested in having a gander would be prepared to pay reasonable amount if can get working - Thank you
