Gemini 1 motor shaft bent

Hi Just discovered the pinion end of shaft the dec motor on my G11 G1 is bent. I wondered why it was way noisier than the RA motor so started to investigate. This seems to be the problem - I can see the motor shaft wobble as it rotates.

Is there any way of repairing this - or do I just replace the motor?

cheers
Gary

I would say replace the motor and the gearbox. Pinions like that don't bend easily. So something has given it a good whack. If the whack was large enough to bend that, then it has probably damaged the gearbox as well.
