Polar aligning for visual and Photos

Hello everyone :

I'm not sure if this is a beginners question but for lack of a better idea, I would like to pose these questions anyway.

I'm getting a paramount MX shipped over the next short-ish while (patience...grasshopper!). What I had in mind was a setup for both visual and photos, because I like both and don't want to swap OTAs with two profiles for modelling and pointing accuracy.

I had in mind that I would put my APO next to my C9.25 on a side by side setup (common setup I hear) and mount the APO on rings so that it points to the same thing that the C9.25 points at. Finders are easy to align so no problems there.

Questions pop into my head though that I was hoping to discuss :

1. When you start off with a polar alignment, should you do this with the setup you want to use or is it OK just to create the model with an APO attached first and then change equipment (I think I know the answer to this one but wanted to check).

2. Given the small space between the scopes but that the APO will be 'off centre' so to speak in order to align to the same object that the C9.25 is on, is this likely to cause problems with tracking and what might look like periodic error (of course it won't be much with an MX) in photos? i.e. does anyone think that I might get some blurring because the APO is at a small angle whereas the C9.25 is not?

3. I want to use the side by side, it's nice and I paid money for it so I'm not keen on piggy-backing all the equipment to the C9.25 OTA, but if anyone has suggestions otherwise on what might be a fun set-up that would work well then I'd be interested in hearing and seeing those - does anyone have something similar that they would be interested in sharing? Should I be considering mounting the C9.25 in rings and letting the APO stay straight-on? Whaddya think

4. Lastly, I'm not adverse to having more than one profile if it comes down to that (I figure that's not so hard using The Sky X), would anyone suggest this is a better idea than trying to get everything pointed to the same star?

Thanks for your time in reading and thanks in advance for any responses.
