UHC Filter - how do I adjust colour

I've just picked up a UHC filter - I live only 7km from the centre of Sydney and the light pollution is pretty rough.

I've been fiddling about with basic astrophotography (unmodded 350D) and - when my new adapter arrives - I hope to takesome shots through the filter.

The filter gives the nebula I've seen so far (as the clouds parted momentarily) have a distinct bluish look to it. I'd appreciate any tips on how to adjust for this in Photoshop. Having come to PS failry recently, I find some of the adjustment layer processing bewildering.
