How do I make the red dot in the finder smaller

Hi all, stupid question. why is the red dot in my finder so big and how do I make it smaller?

I feel like I'm missing something really dumb

even when I'm looking close its still very, very large. It used to be the size of a star.

Can you post a link showing where you obtained this? Someone may then be able to give you better answer.


Having said that, have you tried turning the knob with the white dot? I am guessing that will make it dimmer, and show up as a circle.


I suspect that in the photo, it is at maximum brightness.
