I like because it’s difficult for the camera to capture what the naked eye can see, but this come close

That's so true, I think this captures the ambient light, despite it being a composition. In the original photo the disc of the moon is totally overexposed (posted in my first solar eclipse thread).

Very nice. It would improve if you corrected for lens distortion so the horizon is not curved upwards and was level.

It looks like the sun is on fire or a big black meteor entering the atmosphere trailing smoke.

here it is ... a little bit wobbly I think but I do prefer it, I used the puppet transform tool in PS6.
