Hi all,
I've 'upgraded' to a 16" goto Dob as I never seemed to get into astrophotography enough and am mostly visual these days. So it's time for my 8" Meade LX-90 to find a new home. I bought it about 15 years ago and it's barely been used (between uses it's been stored in its original box in the house). I think $2000 is a fair price with all the bits, but would appreciate feedback on that. Pick up is near Winchelsea, VIC 3241.
- Meade LX90 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain - not the GPS version [f10, F 2000mm, D 203.2mm, UHC], 1 1/4" eyepiece adaptor & diagonal, Autostar hand controller & serial cable
- Meade field tripod
- Meade 8x50 finder
- Meade equatorial wedge from an older model, but could be adapted to fit
- Zero image-shift focuser (#07080, LX200) - unused, untested
- Meade off-axis guider (#07054)
- Meade Super Plossl 12.4mm multicoated eyepiece
- 8" solar filter (unused)

Postage would be considered, but would be pretty costly I'd imagine. Happy to transport the scope in the Geelong/Surfcoast area for inspection for serious buyers.
Thanks, Doug
