Push-to rig: Losmandy AZ8 + encoders + Nexus II

Losmandy AZ8 side-by-side mount complete with the Losmandy LW tripod and with the addition of 311,000 step encoders and Nexus II recently fitted by AstroDevices. It also includes the bracket on top that holds the Nexus II, this is a $530 upgrade.

As new condition, and the worms have been adjusted to remove the slack.

This is an excellent setup for visual observers looking for a push-to-setup with SkySafari Pro on iPhone or Android devices, and suits scopes up to 10kg, typically 2 x refractors up to 150mm triplet APOs, or 8" SCTs.

Only reason for parting with this is that I recently was offered a significantly larger scope for which this mount is not suitable.

Price $1200 collect or delivered to you within Sydney - the tripod makes shipping prohibitive.

Hi Mark,

The AZ8 is basically a GM8 with the polar axis pointing up, and dovetail mounts on both sides. It has worm drives on both axes.
This one has high resolution encoders and a Nexus II fitted, providing a WiFi connection to Sky Safari on an iPhone/iPad/Android/computer.

Once you use push-to you won't go back.
