Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM 2.8 L

Anyone used this lens Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM 2.8 L. If so what is it like.
I no there is cheaper lenses out there but i
have had my eye on this lens.

It is one of the sharpest Canon lenses ever made.

Makes for a brilliant portrait lens that slots in beautifully between the fabled 85mm and 135mm portrait staples.
