QHY PoleMaster

QHY have kindly supplied me with a PoleMaster digital polarscope, as part of their ongoing southern hemisphere beta test. Melbourne weather permitting, I'll be doing a write-up on the device later in the week.

I'm aware that some people have been asking about local availability. I do not represent QHY or any of their agents, but there is still some testing to be done to ensure that the product performs as expected in the southern hemisphere.

Brett,
Look forward to seeing your results - if you want trials using an EQ6 mount I can assist.

I have only managed to get out and test the one I have once. Very easy to use. I have set up on a pier in the backyard so I know that my PA is going to be pretty close as it is. But with this I saw lots of error I couldn't tell I had (this was after PHD2 drift aligning)
