NGC 2997 seems to be the most photogenic galaxy there,
also the brightest at Mag 10 and a face on spiral with
a larger apparent size of 9 arc minutes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NGC_2997
cheers
Allan
Yeah that's the big show galaxy in Antlia but it didn't speak to me, like IC 2531 did
Yeah, nice going Mike, I'm glad you found the path to reconnect to the cosmos and even more personally than before, a beautiful image, touching moment,,, and am sure the 'Light' will always remain between you and your son...
Credits to ya champ..

Seeing this is Ben's Galaxy, here are some photos from the celebration of Ben's life at Eagleview...including me getting covered in his ashes and the panoramic view from his final resting place
There has been some lovely weather lately with lots of clear skies (of course!...it's Full Moon ) so we were lucky with the weather, clear for days leading up and after the event and partly cloudy during but no rain .

I haven't been on much lately although I did see this a while ago and I have struggled to find the words to convey my heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
I love your galaxy image and dedication, it is wonderful.
Getting covered in his ashes definitely means he will always be a part of you.

All the best, mate. Keep doing what you do.
