LRGB Imaging

Was out imaging the other night using LRGB. I have noticed my red channel looks awesome but the green & blue channels look to be a bit bloaty and a lot brighter.

Is that common with the green & blue filters?

Are your filters truly parfocal (some aren't), or are you refocussing for each filter?

I've read that longer wavelengths are less susceptible to poor seeing, so it could be that.

The brightness difference could be your camera, the filters, the target, or all three.

Was imaging the horsehead nebula. They are Baader L-RGB filters and I re-focus each filter change.

What OTA are you using?

If a refractor, depending on what type, you might have some difficulty with blue. Astronomik makes some filters designed especially to mitigate blue bloat.
