NZ Holidays shots

Some happy snaps from my recent break in NZ.
Landscape is from a hill around Bay of Islands in Paihia.
Couple from the ship and inside Auckland's Museum. Very cool place to visit if you like a bit of Maori history and pacific migration. The star map and the boat caught my eye.

Just been there on a cruise too. We visited Bay of Islands, Tauranga, Napier, Wellington, Arkaroa, Dunedin, Dusky Sound, Doubtful Sound and Milford Sound.

A truly beautiful country which appears green everywhere except where there is snow. I waited far too long to go there I think, and I hope to go back there again to look through the centres of the islands; particularly the south island.

Which line did you go with Marc?

I went with Royal Caribean on the ovation in 2017, 18 and 19 so I did all locations both north and south island now. Next trip I'll fly in and camper van around as we now know all the places we want to stay and view in details. I really liked the middle and east coast of the north island. There are some really nice places south of Rotorua. Around Napier is a bit of a wine country region like the Hunter valley. Hamilton, Cambridge are very nice inland too. Wellington is a great place. Wasn't too fussed about Dunedin or Picton though. The sounds are beautiful and the best way to see them is on the water. Looks steep and pretty inaccessible otherwise but for Milford.
