Got up early this morning and went to a mountaintop location to attempt to see this comet low in morning skies. Successful despite low altitude, upper level haze in the east, smoke from burning off, and a nearby crescent Moon.
I managed to obtain a very poor quality, low-resolution spectrum (attached). Pretty sad effort, about all you can say is that there's probably not much change since the last spectrum I took on 28 Feb, still a predominantly gassy comet with strong diatomic carbon emissions.
Rob,
Something about "You'll never, never, know -if you never, never, go!" comes to mind.
Your efforts were rewarded by obtaining, at least a usable spectrum. Well done!
As you say, not to much difference from previous.
