Jeremy, Tony is spot on. The image is not nice and sharp, but for a beginner it is not always easy to get a sharp single frame, due to the instability of the atmosphere, which is why many quality lunar images are the result of stacking hundreds of video frames.
It has also been taken at a short focal length in order to show the whole moon. There are different ways of imaging, and I have attached a couple of images taken at different focal lengths using eyepiece projection with an 8" scope years ago. Both were single frames.
I apologise to John for the hijack of his thread, but this is after all where beginners learn.
