Solar System Drive

On our way to Coonabarabran last week we literally drove past the Solar Systems outer planets (including a dwarf planet).

Said to be the largest virtual Solar System. It sure made the drive interesting.

The distance between the planets are relative to their size on the billboards, you can't miss them. And it's not just one road to Coonabarabran that has these billboards but several main roads, 5 of them in fact, so it doesn't matter from which direction you're travelling.

Here is a photo I took of Jupiter a few K's out of Coonabarabran.

Actually surprised it's still standing after the fire. So maybe the big fire did not reach that far out into the solar system?

Yeah it made the trip more interesting! I'll have to look up the St.Kilda one next time I'm in town.

Pretty much everything up to Jupiter and a bit little more got burnt, surprisingly though as is the way with bushfires (it doesn't discriminate) Mars and Jupiter got spared. I'm not sure about Earth, Venus, Mercury and the Sun as the roads were closed.
