NGC 5128 Centaurus A

While I was waiting for another DSO I'm after at the moment, I decided to do a short stint at this beautiful galaxy. I've been able to collimate my RC8 to as close as I can get, to the point all stars are looking great.
There's a sneaky little galaxy hiding in the top right, I couldn't find a lot of info on it as yet.

About 2 hours of data maybe less as it wasn't what I was after that night.

Thanks for looking.

A beautiful image Karl
Well done !!
I nailed Centaurus A last month with 3 hours of guided dithered subs plus darks down at my holiday home dark site
Yours exhibits a bit more clearer detail with less noise reduction, you can tell
Keep them coming
I’m away OS for a couple of weeks so won’t be near a scope until later on in May
It’s good to have a break
Cheers

Top of the class for that one Karl. Lovely colour, sharpness and processing. You should have posted it in the Deep Space Image section because that's where it deserves to be.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy with it. I'm not sure about being in Deep Space section haha
It was a bit of a rush job in post-processing, I've been working on how I process from focus/capture/adjusting values, pre-processing to post-process. I have quite a lot more images I haven't put up here with total times ranging from 30 min to 20 hours and basically getting off the beaten track of the norm images taken and pushing my set up to its limit and pushing myself out of the comfortable zone of the easy and learning some great techniques along the way.

Beautiful image. Great colour for the galaxy and colour temperature for all of the stars with a natural depth to the background. So that is what it looks like.

What was the camera and processing software.?

Is that galaxy Ngc 5090 with 5091 next to it top right?

Not sure. Maybe they are further out.

Had a check it is NGC 5090.

Standard dslr is all I use Ray and used Star Tools on this image, I don't use much anymore.

That looks beautiful Karl, I can’t believe how clear you have gotten the image. I need that secret for my images, I had a try of the Carina nebula but I’m not very hopeful. Am I able to pick your brain again for help?
Again beautiful image.

Clear skies

Great job; you're not going to do much better than that with a DSLR.
