Eight Burst Nebula From last night

Well this i was pleasantly surprised with this image i didn't expect such a result for such a tiny target with my system.

Interesting to note that the centre star is in fact a 2 star binary system.
Unfortunately not discernible with my 8" scope.
This planetary Nebula is at odds with most that I've seen given its asymmetrical shape.

Cartes Du Siel states it as 85x53" arc/s
My camera images at 1.37"/pixel would love to see what it could produce at f8.

I like the widefield shot Michael, there are so many interesting planetary nebs out there, pity they appear so small in the scope!

Cheers
