Penumbral Lunar Eclipse 09/02/2009

Well funny enough, the position of the moon meant that a big tree was in my way to use the mount, so I had to support the ED80 with one arm whilst taking continous shots near the fence where I had a clear view, and yes it was awkward and heavy, lol. I just missed maximum by about 10-15mins? And missed a before shot. Will do better next time.

Canon 350D, ED80 - ISO200, 1/500
Sharpened, slightly adjusted, edited for presentation.

Thanks for the comments,
yes I think I should have used at least 1/1000 or 1/2000.
I was very unprepared and didn't have much time to get things exactly right. Good practice though.

LOL RB, I actually was using one arm/hand supporting the ED80 holding the dovetail, whilst trying to take shots with the other hand holding the camera.
