its been a while - a long while but here is my take on this. the common footprint, but immortalised in concrete for posterity. this was when i built the original doghouse, unfortunately this is all i have to remember the day with and the involvement of the kids. my daughters foot has changed a wee bit but my sons - OMG he is into size 11 and he is only 13. my how things change as we no longer live there and they are growing up quickly

The next photo should have something grainy ….

LOL – no Sasquatch foot print Dave?

Here we go …a sprinkling of grains of Himalayan Salt, making a “grainy” image – LOL!

The next photo will have something to do with “man-made structure” or perhaps that should be “person-made structure”.

Cheers

The Stairway to heaven

These are concrete storage silos on the Mersey River in Tassie, and about 7-8 storys high.

The next photo will have something to do with pets

il pleut beaucoup...

Taken in the paddock outside our back garden on 19th Nov 2014, the storm was the one that cost Brisbane $1Billion in insurance claims. Luckily we escaped the fury of the super cell and were only lashed by the winds and torrential rain at the periphery.

The next photo will have something to do with a foreign country.

Cheers

It's not just that this was a foreign country, Norway, it's that it felt foreign... we just don't get this kind of scene anywhere in Oz

The next image should be something really HOT

Here is a jar of pickled Chilli Olives with Garlic, Lemon and Peppercorns. After six months of pickling they were quite nice and bitey.

With the exception of the peppercorns and the Olive oil everything else was straight out of the garden.

The next image should be about Pond Life

Here we go Ric, a few tortoises (or turtles?) from the pond (lake) at the University of Queensland.

The next photo should contain something “nostalgic”.

Cheers

This pic makes me feel a bit nostalgic as it's of the lighthouse near where I grew up in Port Macquarie... Ah good times...

It also has a kind of old feel to it because it was a long exposure shot through an IR pass filter and, as I couldn't use AF or see anything through the lens, the focus is a bit soft adding to the effect.

The next photo should be something to do with a nice Sunny Day

That's a beautiful old lighthouse Hugh. Art Deco, from back in the days when they cared how things looked.

This seemed calm, although a look at the wiggley horizon and I'm not certain they are sailing into calm deep water.
The next photograph should be... fruity

Time to get this thread working again.
How about a "Wildcard" theme.
Post your "Wildcard" photo and name the next one.

Okay Trev, here we go.

A Mistletoe bird chomping on a fruity berry at Oxley Creek Common, taken back in July this year.

The next new photo should have something to do with “gaudy colours”.

Cheers

I'll have a crack at this Dennis. Taken today while visiting a weavers and spinners fair, they even had their manual looms and spinning wheels in action, most interesting mechanically. Also some belly dancers.

Next wildcard picture would have to feature a lighthouse.

This is the Cape Schanck lighthouse earlier this year, a splendid day for a picnic and a tour inside it!

The next picture should be something "slow moving".
