Sorry Leon - that page of Jen's was a typo.

Glad to see that your copies arrived. Your Rosette was great.

Guys, could you maybe at least tell people if it's on it's way?
I was a tad disappointed mine didn't show today.
I ordered 5 on Sept 12-ish....
I know Adelaide is a backwater but the suspense is killing me!

I received my compendium today. Great stuff.
The ^%#%*^{ post office rolled it up and stuffed it in our small po box with 4 other magazines and mail and junk took 5 mins to get all the mail out. The compendium is now shaped like a banana and now under my EQ6 balance weights to try and straighten it out.
The more I say to the po the worse it gets.

Adrian

Some people, instead of brains, have little bunnies jumping around inside their skulls.
Sorry to hear they ruined your book Adrian.

Too right. You've paid good money for this and it shouldn't get to you in such poor condition. Let them have it, take it higher if you need to and don't back down.

As a frequent eBayer (and pedant) poor treatment of packages is a pet hate of mine

The book looks great. Page 7 would be my un-biased favourite!

The only negative would be some pages with too many pictures submitted, maybe some should have been held over to the 2010 Compendium.........

Thanks Dave

The reason that some pages have many images placed on them is that the contributors only had very low resolution images that were already small in size and that would not otherwise scale for print at 300dpi. Given this, it was either place a single image at a tiny 1/6th page size in the middle of the page and have it drown...or do what I did. Creating mosaics with low-res images was the only option.

Thanks Alex - and Adrian, I hope yours recovers! What turkeys!

Duncan, yours, and the the majority of the books were sent this morning. I'm pretty sure I filled the red postbox thing

Most people should start receiving theirs in the next few days.

Chris and Mike ,

well, where does one start....

Thank you both of you guys. From the bottom of my heart.
It turned out even better than I had imagined.
I still have trouble believing it came off.
How you organised 80 contributors is commendable to both of you.
The printer has done a fantastic job. Thanks to them, whoever they are!
It's real, and I now have one!

And as for which page stands out .....they all do!
Thank you the 80 people for making this go from an idea
to a real thing. Tickled pink....or is it purple
Steve
