Air Conditions in Perth

I'm here on Days off, not on my usual night shift... So why am upset and not rejoicing about being able to get out and use my gear to get some views/pictures. Perth has been blanketed by smoke for the last 3 days!!! I am convinced that the purchase of new equipment works as a weather control device. Buy a new scope - get 3 weeks of rain, buy a new narrow band filter cover the skys with smoke. Is there no justice?
