Heavy Duty Crayford Focuser for RC and Refractors

Hi all
up for sale is a heavy duty focuser with a base modified to fit the 117mm GSO series of RC scopes, eg RC10. and RC12. I'm not sure
of the brand to which it was originally fitted. It could be adapted to a refractor with a suitable adapter.

The design is very similar to a Feather-Touch 3.5" focuser - with a 3.5" OD(88mm) diameter draw tube, and 3" (74mm) of
travel for the drawtube.
It uses a flat steel track and crayford design for the mechanism rather than a rack and pinion. Also has a 10:1 reduction knob.

It has two alternative rotational axes with one at the connecting base to the telescope, and the other at the eyepiece/camera end.
The eyepiece/camera ring is a standard 2" (48mm) connection with 3 screws to hold your eyepice or camera.
This screws into the drawtube with a 2.7" (68mm) diameter thread. The disassembled parts are shown below.

Price: $350 plus postage
