26th Feb That big Sunspot

26th Feb.
I managed to get some images of the sun today in the region of AR 3590 which has been prominent for a few days now. Sky conditions were poor and I nearly gave up - these are the best two images I could get - one at 540 nm and the other at 656 nm (Ha). The length of AR 3590 was measured on the 540 nm image at 194,000 km across with the main body at 131,400 km. The width was about 57,000 km.
Both single exposures taken with Canon 550d.

Thanks for viewing.
