Wonderful reference document Rowland. Thanks for putting it together, and all the work in years before.

You are all very welcome. Happy to be of service.
I suspect that the previous link may have pointed to an older version. The links now reference the most recently edited version. As with all things writing, rereading, other than intitial proofreading, tends to highlight room for improvement. Some sections have been rewritten and others are marked for a tidy up.

Hi Rod. There are a few modders on the forum, so you won't be short of help and advice. Hope it all goes well.

Hi Rowland, congratulations on Edition 4, it has certainly progressed since the early days. I was inspired to source another sensor for my spare 450D body. My eyes are not up to debayering any more sensors, unless you have a less labourious suggestion.
I would also like to have a look at stacking TECs, the idea being to use lower power consumpion units; this seems to work well for cooled production cameras.

No. I left that one alone as too difficult.

I guess a new chapter. Anư idea of the best ratio small to large.

Jen has done an IR Mod on her 450D, now we're waiting to see if she wants to carry on down the well worn path ..... eventually mono will get her, it's inevitable.
