I think it’s a case of having to look through to appreciate the difference. The flat field and distortion free image right to the edge is a winner in my books. Wish I could afford a pair. I’m not sure it makes any sense to compare binoculars with a refractor though as they are completely different instruments. It really depends on the individual and what they are after and what they value more.
These binoculars are for hunting, birding and general outdoors and although you can use for astronomy, I’m not sure that buying them just for the latter would make sense but it may to someone although I feel that most buyers will be nature enthusiasts or hunters.
