What did you use? I hear Eclipse fluid kit is often recommended.

"I use Eclipse fluid and sensor swabs made by
http://photosol.com/. I think Eclipse fluid is just ultra-pure methanol that dries with no residue, but don't even dream of using anything not designed for sensor cleaning. The swabs come in different sizes - you want Type 3 for full-frame sensors. Lots of suppliers - I get them from Amazon.
The Eclipse fluid is cheap, the pads are expensive - $2-3 each, use once only, and expect to use several to clean the sensor. Often you end up leaving a smear on the sensor - sometimes cleaning makes it worse at first - and you need several goes before ending up with a nice clean sensor. I think I took 6 goes once."
