So where's this Lemmon tail?

Imaged Lemmon last night. Beautiful colour, bright as anything, sharp, but where's this magnificent tail I see everyone else getting? I see no sign of it?

Here's a screenshot out of the Orion Starshoot camera last night.

How long was your exposure? THe other pics have had longish exposures or have stacked a number of exposures to bring out the detail. The tail is actually very faint.

Admittedly, this is only a single sub at 2 minutes. I have around 20 to stack. Would this be enough to bring it out?

I can't stack yet as my laptop has only 2GB of ram and MaxIM or DSS just keep sending me out of memory error messages.

I have a new computer in the observatory with 8GB of RAM and just waiting for a 64bit OS then I can stack all this data. Soon.... very soon!

Baz.

Yep, I saw it too that cute little "spike"
Beautiful pic- tail or no tail, Baz, and I look forward to more.
I'm so glad you finally got to see it!

Thanks Suzy. I had a good night for a couple of hours on it last week, so I'm just waiting for my new computer's operating system so I can stack the 30-odd subs I have on it.

Bless ya.

Baz.
