USA Eclipse

I was surprised the discover that I'd managed to capture some 570 frames during the 2017 TSE in the USA...even then, I don't think it was enough!

Finally I'm now back in Oz and was a little apprehensive to see RAW the data for the first time on my desktop PC...thankfully it was not too shabby

An early result can be seen here

Nice one Peter, I thought I was over the top with about 220 files captured during the eclipse.

Yes, Jackson. There was some high cloud but it cleared to a gin clear sky by about 9.00 am. We were close to the centreline so got close to the advertised 2 mins 19 sec of totality. conditions were pretty much perfect.

Great to hear you had clear weather Peter. Will make up for the cairns outing. And a great pic to boot. More to come I'm sure. I'm still to see one of these. Maybe the one in Sydney.
