Most likely a regretful sale
But here it is:
My ASI 178 cooled color 6.4Mp camera with very tiny pixels of only 2.4um. awesome for planets when seeing is optimal..
Its not even 18months old; Used on a couple of dozen nights for planets only, each night would have done approx a dozen video captures between 30secs to 2 minutes.
It has been ultra reliable & never had a problem running with the Fire-Capture prog. It has never been 'tampered' with, still very clean all through, & window filter is also spotless, as all my gear is.
It is USB3 super fast, I have had it running at 230fps @ 14bit ADC while set at 320 x 250 pixels using my 12" Meade SCT @ prime focus & that ROI (Region of Interest) filled with Saturn.
