"If I Could Fly" by Joe Satriani (the one Coldplay massively ripped off).

"I Don't Care Anymore" - Phil Collins.

This is a great way to get your post count up. Funny thing is I started a similar thread to this but was more of a game and it got taken down for that very reason...

Ooh, nice to see a fellow Klaus Schulze fan. I'm sure I've left a few droppings in this thread with links to some classic KS.

That particular album in the 1980s (Tonwelle) is a classic IMO. I have driven on country roads with that CD blowing out the speakers,

Do you know who the actual guitarist is on that album? - he is listed as Karl Wanhfried - Rumour has it that he is a famous guitarist playing under a different name (perhaps Carlos Santana or the Ashra Tempel guitarist). Mike Shrieve (ex Santana) play superb drums on this album

I'll have to do a bit of digging around to get to the root of it!

I can't pick a favourite Klaus Schulze album, or series (such as DSOTM with Laswell and Namlook). I love all his work.

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.......The Lion The Beast The Beat album. Actually, my son recently opened my eyes to her various works and performances and I'm almost "smitten".

have you heard of The Necks? An experimental 3-piece acoustic group out of Sydney. Just saw them a few months ago. Very unique group - cant really put them in any musical genre - maybe they have their own with only them in it.

They started off playing together in the late 1980s and would not allow anybody else to hear their music - it was purely for the 3 of the musicians.

They improvise most of their live performances and CD releases - usually one track on each CD. A recent CD is called "Open" (patience is needed with this lot)

Nice one, Beren. I don't mind her stuff. You'll like Grimes if you haven't already checked her out.

I've recently fallen in love with Angus and Julia Stone's stuff.
