Vintage Vixen 9" reflector?

I came across this ad on Facebook marketplace for what is supposedly a vintage 9" (230mm) Vixen reflector with a Vixen alt-az mount. Looks like 1980s or 1990s vintage to me. .

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...2-d065acf8ad97

I have never heard of such a scope from Vixen but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Does anyone have any idea about what it is?
Perhaps this might be an opportunity for someone with the time & skills to restore it?

I have no connection to the seller, just thought it was interesting.

Its an early version of the 200mm F4 . The seller has just measured the diameter of the tube . Might be a bargain though you could bank on $400 if the mirror needed recoating .

Yep that makes sense.

It sounds like it won't have any corrector included either, so that would likely be a significant additional expense (even if the mirror doesn't need a recoat).

The '4 element 1.1X GSO Coma Corrector @$150 can work well but it needs about 25mm of M48 spacers to set it up properly . And then theres that focusser ... Could be a bargain for a grab n, go visual scope ..
