I watch it weekly on Discovery. Very funny but also educational.

I recommend it! (not that that means much)

I've seen it once or twice, and see it in the guide and want to watch it again, but it conflicts with something else my wife wants to watch I think.

Looks interesting and humerous at the same time.

Yep it's a beaut. I've got my Topfield TF5000PVRt set up to record it whenever the name comes up in the EPG. Perhaps that's what you should buy next Mike, you can record two shows at once while watching a previously recorded one.

I liked the myth busted about the the coin being dropped from the skyscapper, did not get to see the rest of the show, had my girlfriend over and we went out to dinner. What else happened this week?

You've heard the one about the construction worker who lowers a barrel of bricks from three or four floors up via a pulley system but misjudges the weight. It pulls him up to the top, hitting him on the way up. He jams his fingers in the pulley, the barrel hits the ground and breaks open spilling the bricks. The barrel, now being lighter than he, rushes back up, hitting him a second time, he hits the ground, lets go of the rope and the barrel comes back down and hits him again.
They actually got it to work. Did it twice. Really funny to see what happened to the crash test dummy. Wasn't meant to be hit with 180lbs of bricks!

I think my favourite is when they put 'crash test dummy' in the washing machine and turned on the spin dry.

YAHOOOOO!

Hey Laurie,

Don't you wish we had studied science at school the way Myth-Busters study.

I bet we would have remembered more!

Ken, I was never too good at Science. Just too many formulae to remember. 5 year apprenticeship for the electical trade was bad enough!
Got the hang of it after 2 nd year.
Did you ever BLOW anything up?

At school we never blew anything up. Just left the gas taps going.

Blown heaps up as an adult though!

A bloke in the bike club I used to be in always made huge bombs and when we would go off on a run we used to blow up all sorts of things (not people or property). Nuff said about that.
