Jupiter and Io from last night October 5. One of my better Jupiter shots. Fine tuning the workflow process for planets has been the biggest hurdle for me, coming from deep sky processing. Upsampled 200% so I can sit back from the monitor without having my nose on it. Maybe I should just get a bigger monitor. There's a little smearing still. Might be from the wind or I've gone a bit too long.
Taken with a GSO 10" F4 Newtonian at F16 or so, Svbony SV305 camera, NEQ6 Pro, Belt, backlash and bearing modified.
Captured in Sharpcap, stacked in AS!3, processed in Photoshop.
That is a damn fine image of Jupiter considering using an F4 scope to start with, must have the collimation fine tuned, very nice colour and detail.
I am curious about the Svbony camera, what frame rate do you get with it. From the specs for the camera it is capable of 250 fr/sec at the minimum ROI and uses the same! sensor as my zwo290mc but another site it is advertisied on only claim 130 fr/sec.
