NGC3576 and 3603 - a 2 degree field

I have recently re-mounted my BabyQ and coupled it with an ATIK 4000L. I am always a bit surprised by the size of the field with this combination and here is an example. It's about 2 degrees a side. Most images of NGC3576 (like Martin Pugh's terrific version you've all seen) are reasonably high resolution and small-field shots. This one gives a bit of context including a look at the black snake in the SW corner. North is up. 12nm Astronomic 16x10mins.

Great image Peter, that's a great combo for wide fields. I like the snake in the corner. Well done

Great image Peter! You should post full sized image though to do it justice.
