ASIAIR user guide for total beginners

After much frustration and 2 nights of hair pulling l found this written guide that seems to have the answers (the long version)......now i might get somewhere
l wish ZWO would spend some effort on writing decent manuals
https://www.highpointscientific.com/...o-asiair-guide
l hope l'm not breaching any rules

The issue is that the ASIAIR is under constant gradual improvement and updates which makes it hard to maintain an up do date user manual. Keep an eye on youtube as any updates are always posted there by varying astrophotographers.

Planning to buy an ASIAR

I'm planning to buy an ASIAR to control my Meade LX 200 scope, and also for astrophotography...
Can I control everything with my iPhone?
Regards
Luis

Yes that's what it is designed for, either a iphone/ipad or android device. If you want to use it with a laptop you can use a M1/2 mac natively or Windows 11 with Android enabled but you must sideload the app, it's kind of complicated on the windows side, OR use bluestacks android emulator on your laptop
