50mm unmounted filter sets

Due to my upgrade to the big 50mm Square filters for my new FLI camera, I now have available two sets of 50mm unmounted (round) filters for astroimaging, ready to plonk straight in your filterwheel

1) FLI LRGB Research Grade filter set: AU$500
2) Astronomik LRGB TypeIIc filter set: AU$500 [sold]
3) Astronomik Halpha 12nm filter: AU$250 [sold]

Anyone looking into purchasuing filters new will know these prices are significantly below the new cost. All are in perfect condition and in original packing cases.

The two brands are equally good and both sets are Parfocal with only the filter thickness different (Astronomik = 1mm, FLI = 3mm).

Price is not negotiable but includes shipping anywhere

I prefer to deal via email rather than PM please m.sidonio@bigpond.com

Hopefully I can make two imagers very happy?

The Astronomik HaLRGB set is a [pending sale] now.

**The FLI LRGB 50mm unmounted Research Grade set is still available:

Some may not be as familiar with the FLI filters but the FLI filters are as good or better than other top brand imaging filters on the market like Baader or Astrodon etc. I used them when I got my first FLI camera and had no issues with them at all. I then obtained an Astronomik Ha filter which is a different thickness to the FLI's. After a while I wanted all the filters to all be parfocal so I got the rest of the Astronomiks as at the time FLI wasn't offering other narrow band filters.

In case you may be needing a quality set of LRGB filters the FLI set is of the highest quality and now FLI offer the whole set of narrowband filters too if you want to move that way in the future and maintain par focal-ness. They will fit in any filterwheel that can take 50mm round filters.

For AU$500 you have a bargain set of high quality CCD filters

For full specifications see (RG 50D LRGB): http://www.flicamera.com/fli/filters.html

Here is an award winning image done with the FLI filters

and another but non award winning image.
