I had my 350d modified by Eric (without filter replacement) but now the red channels sometimes way to the right on the histogram.
I did purchase a Omega NPB filter but this seemed to still induce to much red in an image eg: my M83 image I posted.
When using no filter I get a divided histogram under PS in RGB and when I open each color channel sometimes reds way off too the right or more towards the middle whereas green and blue channels are more towards the left side.
Any idea what's causing this or suggestions if a filter may help resolve this issue and what type
Attached a DSS stacked images showing RGB levels prior to any adjustment in PS normally I try and balance the color channels in DSS
The red is off to the right because the filter lets more of the red Spectrum in I just got a Hutech 450D its the same I shoot in Raw . Are you sooting in Raw or just JPG.The only way too do deepsky stuff is to Shoot in Raw Format. You can Adjust your Colour channels in Camera raw. Tony
