Well, I am moving into Mono/Narrowband imaging and therefore the beloved ATIK 314L+ OSC CCD camera is up for sale.
My first foray into proper CCD imaging and I have had this camera attached to the 8" F5 reflector and the ED80 refractor. Both perform well, but with the Orion 0.8x Focal Reducer on the ED80, it performs beautifully with a lovely field of view.
The relatively little but EXTREMELY quiet Sony sensor combined with Focal lengths of 600mm-1000mm mean you get up NICE and close to planetary nebulae, galaxies and clusters. Just image search for some of my many many images taken with this camera. I have attached a few below.
Cooling is great with set - point capability and Artemis capture is very good for imaging.

M42 and Sombrero were taken with the 8" newt @ 1000mm FL (F5), the Trifid and Centaurus A were with the ED80 using the 0.8 Orion focal reducer which meant a FL of 480mm or F6.
