Petrol, credit card rates and astronomy bargins - is there an AA?

I wish to say that I try to support my local dealers, by purchasing products from them – you know who you are……….

But the high Aussie dollar has been crippling the credit card, and these blasted Astro Suppliers Keep producing Astro bargins that you just cant go past – Michael from Bintel Has me over a barrel of crude oil, having just purchased a HEQ5pro and ordering a Lunt 60mm Ha Double Pass Telescope (B1200) (I hope to have this sucker in September). Not to be outdone Steve from Myastroshop has talked me into another Baader MPCC and an extension kit for use with the Eyepieces I have on the 16” Lightbridge to get rid of the coma (can also use it Astro imaging on second rig). Then two piers from Steve Bain or Southern Cross piers……….HELP!!!

Now I normally do cover any purchase I make by putting in the cash before purchase on the CC. But it has been taking a pounding the past few weeks.!!!!

I wish to say that they are cruel, cruel, cruel people supplying Astro goodies at the price they have. Having said that these guys are worse than drug lords, they continue to lure the moth to the light. Will fuel prices eventually stop me? Will the 19.95 percent credit card rate get me after the 55 day interest free period? I was also eyeing off one of those little Orion short tube 80mm scopes too, then that CAD Allan Gould up and gets a 127mm ed triplet – its just not fair…………….

Is there a AA??????????????????????????

And can you believe it! They are allowed to advertise in magazines and have websites with photos and all! It's a cruel world!

Not so sure, I read that John Dobson gave up being a Hindu monk for astronomy!
