Hello I’m selling my filter wheel with filters because I don’t have the time to use them. Included are 10! par focal filters that allow for photometry (UVBRI), narrowband imaging (Ha OIII SII) and color imaging (L V RS Bc) - everything in one package.
The US made Truetek filter wheel can be controlled from a PC (all the usual software supports it) or from the handset. These robust wheels are so well known most folks will have heard of them.
Included are two filter wheels, one with 8 positions and one with 6. The wheel with 6 was modified by a toolmaker from a 5 wheel sons not to waste a filter spot - my Sbig camera has an internal shutter for dark frames. If your camera doesn’t, the 6th position can easily be blocked off again.
The control box and all connecting cables are of course also included.
On the camera side of the filter wheel four threads were made to allow for direct connection to the Sbig D-block hole pattern allowing for maximum rigidity and minimum back focus. The special screws required for this mounting are also included. You can also attach an M54 to T adapter which are easy to get on eBay - I don’t have one as I didn’t need it but I’ll organize one for you if required.
All options, extra filter wheels etc can still be bought from True Technologies in the US.
