Thanks for the comments.
It's been an ideal subject for learning DSLR imaging and proccessing.
Glen, yes I am a bit tired, but I have a three advantages at the moment.
On holidays, that ends next week.
Clear skies, been really lucky.
Call of nature, always get it this time of the morning makes it easier to get up for an hour or two.
Liz, does your 450D have Hi and Lo settings???. If so, when you set the ISO, you can switch it to Hi1, which will allow you to virtually shoot at 3200. Only problem is it might be a bit noisy.

I can do that on my camera.
I dont think so, but will check it out, of course, battery is flat as a tac.
Is your camera a Canon Carl?
I havent got ISO 3200 on my Canon, but do you do much processing in PS Justin? What do you adjust mainly, the curves?
Hi, Liz.
I don't fiddle too much with photoshop yet, still learning.
My Photoshop is quite old, version 7.
What I do, do is, in menu I go to adjustments, levels and use the slide bar to manually adjust the output. Then I do a slight gausian blur, unsharp mask and colour saturation.
Occasionally adjust the brightness and contrast manually.
