Goodbye to a friend
A very good friend and iceinspacer Paul Brand (asterix2020) has passed away this morning at Caboolture hospital, he had been fighting cancer for a couple of years.
He has posted some wonderful pictures in his short time on iceinspace
Many will remember him building his roll off observatory, even though at times
he was quite ill he finished it off and took some great images from there.
I have known him since he was about 12 years old boy.
Goodbye my friend ,may you Rest In Peace.
Ron Knight

I didn't know him Ron, but I did spend quite a bit of time recently looking at his pics, and in particularly the wonderful ROR build pics and property - with more than a little envy must confess. Very sad to hear, and condolences for his family.

Boy this is a shock
I didn't know Paul, but did following his observatory build recently.
From what I'm gathering he's been taken far too young by this terrible illness.
May he rest in peace.
Thanks for the heads up Ron.
Condolences to all that knew Paul

Thanks Rob, he sure did get some enjoyment out of the obs in the last few months untill the illness took it's toll.
He took some brilliant pics in those months.

Very sad news. My condolences to his family and friends.
Apparently he was active here very recently, so it must really have been a shock.
