No. Initial thoughts are - why would I pay/subscribe when we've got such a wonderful, helpful, free community right here and even Cloudy Nights?

I guess the same reason why some people buy books on subjects! Online forums are a tool, as are CD/DVDs, books and magazines. I try to use them all - especially if it helps me improve. I don't think no one single place is going to cover everything.
I'm not saying that my fellow IIS users aren't helpful, or knowledgeable by any means. They are (both). I guess the more I read, the more I'll learn.

mmm I'm having all sorts of issues. It seems that I have to pay to download all previous PDF files of the magazine? If I go to view the current issue (when logged in), I can't download it, or view the content. mmm. If I view the page src, I can see the links to the PDFs. Odd. Their pages do seem really slow to load. Is that just me?
I tried ietab (in FireFox) but that was the same. I tried Opera 10, and it caused my AV software to completely crash (KAL) - never seen that before! Not sure if it was related or not. Weird...
Anyways, I've rebooted the computer, will re-test and see what happens.

mmm, yup, did it again. Definitely some sort of bug between Opera/website and KAL. Very odd. I wonder if it's https content/Opera or just page content? The odds of KAL crashing twice using Opera, on the same page are pretty damn slim imho. mmm.

Just an update - logged out and back in and now I can download the magazines. Weird.

I am the publisher of AstroPhoto Insight Magazine. The $12 USD price mentioned earlier was a promotional price from January 2008.
We've set up a coupon code for Ice In Space members to use to save 33%. This coupon code applies to new subscribers AND renewals (you can renew at any time; an additional year will be added at renewal).
Use the coupon code "ICEINSPACE" until October 31, 2009 to get the 33% savings.

Oohh!!! Awesomeness!!! Thank you Al. I presume with renewals that the additional year simply tacks onto the end of the current year? I might just have to invest a wee bit more.
Thanks again.
