G'day all,
My Fiance is upgrading from her EOS 30 (film) to EOS 500D.
Her most commonly used lens with the EOS 30 is the canon 28-105 USM. On the digital that's not going to be wide enough, becoming 45mm at it's widest.
What would people recommend as a lens in that zoom range with reasonable image quality ? Canon or Sigma I'm thinking.
Have considered....
Canon 24-105 F/4L: 24mm is still not very wide
Canon 17-85 F/4-5.6 USM: Unsure how image quality will be
... other ideas??
Sigma's range confuses me - never know which acronym's are good or better.
She has the 100-400F/4-5.6 L for the long end.
Thanks,
Roger.
