I think I've met a few who have done just that, moved to this planet.

realistically, being an astronaut is very demanding, that's why most are former airforce pilots, so on one hand i would like to be up there doing something no one else has done, but on the other you know there are big risks
but if you have a few million $ to spare(about $20million should do it!) you could ask the Russians nicely and jump the queue!

i now see most people want to make it to space. that's great and with Space Tourism becoming a reality soon, surely we shall have more humans visiting what man has loved to conquer for a very long time.... SPACE..
